ARRE! ARRE! + BLOOD CHILD (DK) / Nordic Sessions
Under namnet Nordic Sessions presenterar Oceanen ett flertal klubbar med högintressanta akter från våra nordiska grannländer under hösten 2018 - våren 2019.
I slutet av 2015 debuterade Arre! Arre! med sitt album ”A.T.T.A.C.K.” för vilket bandet vann Manifestgalan i kategorin ”Årets punk” samt nominerades till P3 Guld. Med sin 90-tals doftande riot grrrl-musik har de spelat land och rike med akter som Matriarkatet, Mattias Alkberg och Södra Sverige, Refused och Vånna Inget. Med känsla, intelligens och självklar attityd har de stormat den svenska punkscenen. Och med intensitet och skarpa texter uttrycker de sin frustration över sakernas tillstånd.
Bandet har bara spelat en gång i Göteborg, på Stay out West. Nu kommer de tillbaka till stan, utrustade med smakprov från nya skivan som beräknas släppas i mars 2019. Detta vill ni inte missa!

The young lads from Thy have arrived on the music scene wearing heavy weight boxing gloves and ready to hand out knockouts by way of high tempo and pure punk rock! Their pitch-dark ecstatic sound consists of equal parts raw beauty and brutal intensity, that will leave you with a blissfully bruised heart and lost for breath!
Blood Child is one of the latest and most promising bands to come out of the ever flourishing Thy Music Collective in Denmark's heartland, and take their inspiration from a combination of the late 70s New York / London punk scene and the alternative rock scene that was the 90s. During 2018 the band has made appearances at fx SPOT festival, RECession festival in Aarhus and Sørveiv in Kristiansand - they are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut release, which is mixed and produced by Jens Ramon and recorded at Sauna studio in Copenhagen.
