VÅRØ presents: Damen + Boy With Apple

VÅRØ invites you to an indie party at Oceanen and welcomes Boy With Apple and Damen to the stage. The absolute best from each side of the same world.

Boy With Apple is coming to Oceanen to celebrate the release of the single "Good For You", which together with the single "GBG Hills" are the last two releases for the debut album coming in mid-March. The dreamy shoegaze put Boy With Apple on the indie map in 2020 with their EP "Walk in the Park". Since then, they have played in places like Vienna, Wales and New York. In early March, the band will return to the US for more shows.

Damen released their second album last fall and wanted to celebrate with us. "Everything Falls Apart" is a contemporary document to the tune of a rather direct indie pop. Wet guitars, fast drums and melodic bass lines combined with languorous vocals always create magic live. It's been exactly four years since Damen last played at Oceanen and four difficult years later, we're ready to be run over again.

Besides VÅRØ, you'll find our friends Agent Blå in the DJ booth!

It will be indie, indie and then a little more danceable music. Just what an evening should look like!

See you there!

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
