Berget

Listen: Spotify

Gothenburg-based Berget is back with new material and in December the album "Thrill" was released, where sometimes scattered, sometimes floating guitars, synthesizers and melodies are interspersed with contemporary frustration and nerve.

Live, the intensity is turned up a few more notches, and since their debut "New days" the band has varied up and down in a melodic and dynamic indie sound with a clear drive.

Djur som har rymt

Djur som har rymt (animals that have escaped) takes its name from the title song of the EP the band released in 2020, which also gave its name to a book manuscript. Like the longer story, the song is about not being sure about what or who you are. About going to the city to look for animals that have escaped. About the fear and longing that is born there, to be transformed beyond the structures we live in. About the limiting and liberating nature of allowing oneself to be told by others because it is not possible to tell the story alone.

The movement between euphoria and sadness is characteristic of the music, which is often described as melancholic, raw and melodic.

DJ Vaxinationen

In 2017, the members of the previously successful and now defunct dj constellation Amyl Brothers aka dj Dork Shadow dusted off the vinyl records, and formed the vinyl collective Vaxinationen. Vaxinationen is a collective with members all over the world, and in their DJ form they play the music you didn't know you love mixed with the music you know you like.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
