Mary Anne’s Polar Rig + TAPE TRASH

Mary Anne’s Polar Rig

TAPE TRASH is the new project of Anders Magnor Killerud (Ludvig Moon, Team Me) and Kristofer Mathias Staxrud (Spielbergs, Hilma Nikolaisen, Ludvig Moon). In TAPE TRASH, they draw inspiration from the music they listened to when they first picked up their instruments as enthusiastic teenagers: Indie rock induced with infectious choruses, catchy guitar riffs and huge drums.

The band describes their music as rock for people who like pop and pop for people who like rock. They work with a «more is more» metality where anything goes. Pounding drums and a wall of guitars meet sweet pop melodies in a joyful mix between indie rock, punk, emo, dream pop and shoegaze. Thematically, the songs find themselves in a fine balance between ecstasy and panic.

Spelningen genomförs i samarbete med Puls.
