Duschpalatset + Sekunderna + Polisman B

Duschpalatset

Stemming from Umeå's tradition of guitar-driven chaos, Duschpalatset has since their debut in 2017 released the albums "Vinnarmusik" and "Baby" and played around the country's indie clubs. With lyrics written as if they were small Lukas Moodysson scripts at hyper speed, set to Swedish noisy heartland pop with fuzzy synth textures, Viktor, Alva, Carro, and Nike have carved out their own little corner in the Swedish music scene. After years of touring in Sweden and the UK with sold-out concerts, the band is now working on new music set to release in 2024.

Sekunderna

From Umeå comes power pop-influenced punk rock sung in Swedish, often described as "Swedish Dirt Pop" and "Buzzcocks goes Nordic Noir." In 2022, they released their debut album "Här har du ditt liv," followed by around 30 gigs in Sweden, Finland, USA, and Germany. In the fall of 2023, they released the Mini-LP "Tiden är en dröm" on German Rockstar Records. FFA (For Fans Of): Radioactivity, Docent Död, Ebba Grön.

Polisman B

Like a mocking laugh in the back seat of a police car with its lights off, Polisman B sings about the red herrings and smoke screens that have allowed the narrator to escape justice. On their debut EP "Lång Mörk Rock Vol 1", to the sound of sirens and drum machines, the real truth is revealed about what really happened that fateful night when Olof Palme, Sweden's Prime Minister and a brilliant voice for justice and change, was brutally murdered. The listener is urged to cease avoiding the long arm of injustice. Meet your superior. Kneel down and pray, for Officer B.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
