Aasma + Konur

Aasma

Aasma is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in Estonia, raised in a samba group in Gothenburg and now based in Stockholm - here to reflect on humanity and nature together with a collective of flutists, sculptors, drag artists, magicians and mystics.
collective of flutists, sculptors, drag performers, magicians, mystics and game developers.

With a pair of off-road shoes and a portable production rig traveling the world, Aasma creates experimental pop music in collaboration with the sea, mountains, and trees.

"Ocean" - written and produced by Aasma himself in Austin, New York, Japan, on Gotland, in the mountains of Västerbotten and in
mountains and in Bohuslän - is a sonic journey that takes us from the beginning of the ocean down to the dock, out to sea, down to the deck when the rain comes, to a concert in a sailor's church, down to the deep sea and all the way to the end of the world.

Konur

Konur is a female choir based in Copenhagen. They sing polyphonic songs from around the world under the direction of Nini Julia Bang.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
