Textival invites you to Böcker och Brygg, a stage where readings, mini performances, talks and exhibitions from new literary voices are performed!
Böcker och Brygg takes place once a month, in collaboration with Gothenburg’s top writing schools and writing collectives to offer students an open mic where they can perform their work in front of a completely open audience.
Each author is offered a maximum of 10 minutes of reading time and the evening is divided into two sessions with a break. Böcker och brygg is held at Oceanen, with free entry and plenty of good beer.

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
