Dina Grundberg kvartett is the jazz group that plays songs from the vocalist Dina Grundberg. Storytelling meets a rhythmic composition with Barbro Hörberg and Hasse & Tage influences. In this show, you’ll hear songs about Åke with the toothache – to songs about how to write a love ad when you have no talent at all. With their quirky expression, they take you back in time as well as give you a taste of what tomorrow’s jazz has to offer. Dina Grundberg was raised in Bohuslän and found a passion for jazz early in her life. As a teenager, she took her first freelance job and since then she has performed at Sveriges Radio, Stockholms konserthus and Stora Teatern in Gothenburg. Both her music and lyrics have been recognized in the Swedish jazz scene.The band:

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility.
We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage.
This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend.
We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
