Movement shaped like a heart:
ASTA (DK)
celebrating release of debut ep
“jeg har haft det mærkeligt hele mit liv”
ASTA is a musical explosion from the young danes Asta, Lasse & Mikkel. With a fascination for noisy guitar, crazy drumming and off the wall vocals, Astaband works to get every ounce of energy out in their live sets. Founded in Copenhagen in the spring of 2024, it’s been a wild ride with high energy concerts and cathartic rock. Wearing their heart on their sleeve, and an all in attitude to performing, they pull from sources like punk, avantgarde, the Windmill Scene, danish poetry, and maybe a bit of Deerhoof.
ASTA has its roots in the Copenhagen-Århus thriving alternative environment around Movement Shaped Like A Heart and COMMOTION. ASTAs debut EP “Jeg har haft det mærkeligt hele mit liv” is set for release on Movement Shaped Like a Heart in March 2026, with a following Scandinavian tour. They released the singles “hvornår tror du du får en kæreste Asta spørger du” and “jeg har haft det mærkeligt hele mit liv” in november 2025 and january 2026.
Velvy (DK)
celebrating release of their debut album
“Tell Me No”
In a distorted clash between over-manipulated instruments ever changing productions and Lauras
both intimate and vulnerable voice, Velvy creates an intense and fragile alt-pop universe.
Storytellings about adventurous creatures mixed with unruly outbursts of emotion blurs the border
between cute- and weirdness.
The sonically and emotionally diverse songs draw lines to electronica, rock and improvised music
with a fundament in modern pop aesthetics.
Velvy released the EP “The Room We Lived In” in November 2024 and released their debut album
“Tell Me No” in march 2026.
You Thant
(cool swedish electronic rockmusic)
You Thant have already proved themselves to be a force to be reckoned with, selling out an opera house in their native Stockholm while simultaneously cementing their place in the Swedish underground by playing at RIFT and Cease2Exist among other events. Best described as a sonic journey led by the enigmatic Leon Saar, whose haunting vocals slice through lush electronic rock landscapes bleeding edge experimental electronica crafted by the rest of the trailblazing four-piece. This band doesn’t just play music; they wield emotions like instruments, seamlessly shifting between moods while maintaining a constant undercurrent of melancholy. Even in moments of euphoria, the pain remains the heartbeat of You Thant’s sound, exemplified by their erratic live performances. Now, as they gear up for their third album, ‘Självporträtt av en varg’ – co-produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Yung Lean, Viagra Boys, Ecco2k), get ready for an immersive experience that blends the ancient mystique of Nordic folklore with the cutting-edge sounds of modern electronic music.
