Komma ur, binda om
An evening of queer derailments, unbodies, and primordial fury.
We play with language, desire, and the body in an attempt to break out of the stories that fail to hold us, and re-bind what needs tending to and creating anew. What is it that we emerge from? A closet, a narrow narrative, a body? And what is it we want to re-bind, with new words, different movements, queer gazes?
Through conversation, poetry, and rope binding, we move between body and thought, between discipline and freedom. About boundness as language, about being held and letting go. The evening ends with karaoke, a chance to unbind and rebind.
Nioosha Shams is a poet and cultural writer. She has previously published the young adult novel Om det regnar i Ahvaz (If It Rains in Ahvaz) and the poetry collection Teshne. Her latest poetry collection Ur is a ruined creation myth and was released in July. In her writing she explores queer desire, longing, exile, and the forest.
Palmira Koukkari Mbenga is an actor, playwright, and journalist. She often works with themes that move through queerness, Blackness, and spirituality, and how these experiences intertwine and interact.
Mille Bostedt is an actor and screenwriter. They also travel across the country as Professor Rory – founder of the future company Progressive Genitalia, which uses biotechnology to design your dream genitals. In February 2026 their musical Hybrid will premiere at Konträr in Stockholm.

Accessibility
The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
