Sibille Attar + Maja Gödicke
Sibille Attar
Sibille Attar is the artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who has made a lasting mark with an audience as wide-ranging as her repertoire. Attar creates a musical world entirely her own — one in which she gives herself the freedom to create without compromise.
Since her solo debut in 2012, Attar has released five acclaimed full-length albums. The most recent, BRUTAL (2024), is her first written in Swedish. She has also collaborated with artists such as Håkan Hellström and Hurula.
Beyond her solo career, Attar has made significant contributions to theatre, including work for Dramaten and Unga Klara. On December 11, Sibille Attar comes to Oceanen for a special solo performance.
Maja Gödicke
Since debuting with the organ-driven hymn “Ligga still” on the Gothenburg label Luxxury in 2013, Maja Gödicke’s music has moved between lo-fi home recordings and more polished pop productions. Her kaleidoscopic lyrics always take center stage, wrapped in synths, drum machines and sparse acoustic arrangements that together form a distinctive, eclectic musical universe.
Her debut album Omniana (selected recordings 2005–2015) was released in 2015 on Kning Disk — a collage-like summation of her gritty, sacred DIY expression. In 2018, under the pseudonym Kassia Klein (a collaboration with Kåre Vernby / Farväl till Ungdomen), she released Death to all things pop, an album echoing both The Beach Boys and Angelo Badalamenti.
In 2024 she released her second album, En Värld att ligga vaken i, on Knippla Records, the newly launched label that has since become her musical home alongside artists such as Henning, roy and Slowgold. Maja Gödicke’s third solo album, Hjärtat second hand, will be released in 2026.
At Oceanen on 11 December, she will perform a solo set featuring both released and unreleased material.

Accessibility
The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
