Gothenburg Fringe Festival 2023: Ira Serebriakova | City Where Hares Live

"City where Hares Live" is a collection of short tales meant to be read aloud. The tales show Swedish city inhabitants in different seasons of the year. There are hares, lizards, squirrels, birds, and also humans interacting with each other and the world. When we read a Wikipedia article about any city, its population is always mentioned, but only the number of people living in the city is provided. "City where Hares Live" is an attempt to show the city population in a more detailed and varied way. If we discover the city for real, not only humans live there, and humans do not always even make a majority.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
