Gay Wrongs
For the final night before summer, we’ve invited Hanna Johansson to curate the evening. Expect long, bright hours as we celebrate Gay Wrongs!
Because lezbehonest—gay rights are great and all, but as society rapidly shifts toward authoritarianism, we must remember that queer people have always been the grit in the machine. So join us for a night dedicated to gay wrongs—our queer villains, our most shameful taboos, our loudest protests.
Hanna Johansson is a critic and the author of two novels: Antiken (2020) and Body Double (2025), a lesbian thriller.
Edith Hammar is an artist and author of two award-winning graphic novels: Homo Line (2020) and Portal (2023).
Yiğit Karaahmet is a journalist and author. He made his debut in 2021 with the gay love-triangle drama Deniz Ne Kadar Güzel. In May, the book was released in English translation by Nicholas Glastonbury as Summerhouse.

Accessibility
The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
