Sphynxs are a three piece street metal unit from Piteå, Sweden formed in 2006.
With a stripped down no mercy sound of chainsaw guitars, cryptic voices and bulldozer drum machine they sound like nothing else but like the first demo of… everything.
In March 2025, their debut LP “DAWN OF EGYPT” was released on NECRO INVEST and a follow-up LP is on its way in 2026.
Expect nothing but 100% total street metal attack.
Cheap Imitation
Duon Anders Olofson och Ann-Charlotte Rugfelt har under ett och ett halvt decennium spottat ur sig DIY-släpp i form av kassetter, 7” och tidigare under 2025 till slut även sin debut LP. Med en gammal Casiotone-synth, en kraut-phaser och space-echo-vaggande sång bygger Cheap Imitation sitt säregna, dubbigt synth-punkiga sound genererat i lika delar experimentellt lofi-knaster som atmosfäriska synthpop-pärlor. Så som jag har längtat efter att få bjuda in dem på scen!

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility.
We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage.
This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend.
We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
